Your dashboard
A tour of the metrics and breakdowns on your Ometra dashboard, including real-time.
Your dashboard puts the numbers that matter on one screen. Here's what you're looking at.
The date range
Use the selector at the top right to switch between Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, and Last 12 months. Every metric and breakdown on the page updates to match, and most show a comparison against the previous period.
Top-line metrics
- Unique visitors — distinct people, counted without cookies.
- Total visits — sessions (a visit ends after 30 minutes of inactivity).
- Total pageviews — all pages viewed.
- Views per visit — average pages per session.
- Bounce rate — share of visits with a single pageview.
- Visit duration — average time on site.
Click any metric to plot it on the chart.
Breakdowns
- Sources — traffic split by channel, source, and campaign.
- Pages — top pages, plus entry and exit pages.
- Locations — a world map, and breakdowns by country, region, and city.
- Devices — browser, operating system, and device type.
- Scroll depth and Events — engagement and custom/codeless events.
Annotations
Pin a note to a date on the traffic chart to explain what happened — a launch, a campaign, an outage, a redesign. A small marker appears on that day; click it to read the note. This turns the chart into a shared timeline, so nobody has to guess why traffic moved.
Notes come in two kinds:
- Shared — visible to everyone with access to the dashboard, including read-only shared reports. Ideal for giving teammates and clients context.
- Only me — a private note, visible just to you.
Click + Add note above the chart, pick a date, and choose who can see it. You can delete your own notes anytime; workspace admins can also remove shared notes.
Annotations are available on the Individual, Agency, and Enterprise plans.
Real-time
The Realtime view shows current visitors and activity from the last 30 minutes, refreshing automatically — handy right after a launch or a campaign send.
Locations & privacy
Location is derived from the visitor's IP address at request time and stored only as country, region, and city — the IP itself is never saved. See our Data Policy for details.
